There
are many types of “winter fashions” but this survey was about getting back
to the basics. 100 people were
asked 3 questions about basic winter clothing items and the results were as
follows…
Sweatpants
or Jeans?
JEANS.
Everyone
loves a basic pair of jeans. 80
people to 20 preferred jeans to sweatpants.
Personally, I would go with sweatpants, because really, what do you see
on all the runways in Paris, New York, and LA?…sweatpants.
Regardless of the way I feel, most people would pick jeans over
sweatpants. Look at everyone in
your classes, mostly all will be wearing jeans.
There are probably about 598 million different kinds of jeans, which can
be found basically anywhere that sells clothes.
I’m willing to bet you have a pair and remember, no one can have too
many jeans.
Sweatshirts/Hoodies
or Coats?
HOODIES.
The
habitual hoodie took over the cute coat, 80 votes to 20.
Comfort over fashion is the way a lot of people in Ringgold High School
would go. Again, look around and
with all the jeans you see, there will be just as many hoodies.
From brand names like American Eagle, Hollister, Ringgold High School,
and Abercrombie, to high school team names, to colleges and their team names, to
professional team names, hoodies can be found everywhere, in every color.
And just like jeans, you can never have too many hoodies.
Sweaters
or Long Sleeved Shirts?
LONG
SLEEVED SHIRTS.
The vast category of long sleeved
shirts beat out sweaters 73 to 27. Long
sleeved shirts can range from messy to dressy and can also be found everywhere.
Whether it’s a long sleeved t-shirt or a long sleeved dress shirt, many
people prefer them to sweaters. Long
sleeved shirts can also be found anywhere that sells clothes but only during
fall and winter, so get them while you can.
