New Inductees to the
National Honor Society

Mr. McManus, NHS sponsor, along
with RHS senior and society president, John Danek inducted 71 new members into
the Rhs chapter of the National Honor Society on October 5.
The National Honor Society, which was
established in 1921, recognizes outstanding students who not only have a 3.5 QPA
average and above but also students who exhibit four notable characteristics
include genuine scholarship, noble character, worthy leadership, and distinguished
service.
During this ceremony, inductees took
the NHS oath and received a certificate and a pin.
In addition, John Danek was installed
as the 2005-06 President of the NHS, Matthew Polinski as vice-president, Amanda
Owens as secretary , and Josh Morgan as treasurer.
As president of the RHS chapter of the
society, John Danek said that he is really glad to be the President of such a
good group. "We really have a lot of students that deserve to be
here."
