Here are the last five new teacher biographies. Read and learn about a teacher whom you may have!

Mrs. Woods , is one of our newest special education teachers. She currently resides in Finleyville with her husband and three children (2 boys and one girl). She graduated from Ringgold High School and went on to major in elementary and special education. She obtained her bachelors degree from Point Park and her masters from Duquesne. Her grandmother was her inspiration for becoming a teacher. Aside from teaching at Ringgold High School she has also taught at Pittsburgh Public Schools.

Mr. Tomkowitz, a secondary math teacher, graduated from Elizabeth High School and went on to graduate from Penn State University. His major was secondary Math. Before coming to Ringgold he was substitute teacher at Belle Vernon and Elizabeth Forward. Mr. Murphy and Mr. Menzies, two of his old high school teachers, were the ones who inspired him to be a teacher himself. Today he lives in Elizabeth Township. He has several hobbies such as racecars and playing the saxophone with his swing band, the Neon Swing Experience.

Mrs. Stockdale went to Beth Center High School. After graduation she attended California University and majored in elementary and special education. Besides Ringgold High School she also taught at Mon Valley Academy. Some of her past teachers are the reason that she became a teacher. She currently lives in Monessen with her husband. Outside of school she likes to spend time with family and friends, teach preschool gymnastics, and spend time outdoors.

Mrs. Weiss, one of our newest special education teachers, attended Trinity High School. After graduating she went to Washington and Jefferson and also California University. She currently resides in Washington. She also taught at the Washington County Alternate School. In her spare time she likes to ride motorcycles and work her other job, which is at the meadows.
