Paddling Down a River

         On the 25th of September, the Mountain Rams club went on their first outing of the 2005-2006 school year. The trip was an adventure to either kayak or canoe down the Yough.
         Out of the twenty-one club members that went, no one was able to say that it wasn’t fun paddling the roundtrip eleven miles. Ringgold senior, Stephanie Seal, commented on the trip saying, “The water was wet and cold, the bathroom smelled and my kayak was really tippy, but we had a really good time.”
         Since this was their first trip, the new members and old members join up and shared their adventure stories from the summer. Tim Keener, junior, said, “The trip was fun and it was a great to be reunited with my friends in the club. I got to know some new people and make some more friends.”
         With the year just starting, the Mountain Rams club is off and “climbing.”
