Senior Spotlights
Carly McGeever

Mallory McCormick is Vice President of the senior class and President of the Spanish club. She is also active with the basketball and cross country team. She also works part time at Hill's Restaurant. She plans to attend either W&J or Duquesne to major in Chemistry. Her most memorable moment is filling out this questionnaire.

Tiffany Sherred is Captain of the soccer team. She is also involved with Interact and yearbook and was  previously on the prom committee. She plans to attend a college for pharmacy, but she is not exactly sure where yet. Her most memorable moments of our the times spent with friends at football games.

Jasmine Campbell is this year's Homecoming Queen.  She is a member of Interact and the Black Cultures Club.  She is also an office helper.  She currently styles hair as a job.  Jasmine is unsure about attending college, however if she decides to go it will be for Criminal Justice. 

Kaitlin Jubic is involved with the dance team, cross-country team, track team, ski club, publications, Interact, G.E.A.R., National Honor Society, and Who's Who Among American High School Students.  She is captain of the cross-country team, a Junior Representative for Interact and a student council member. She currently works as a receptionist at Sassy's Nail Spa.  She says her most memorable moment was everything, but she especially loved Junior year and the Hawaii trip.  She is undecided about where she would like to attend college but knows it will be for either Pre Med or Business.

Kathy Kerr was on this year's homecoming court.  She participates in S.A.D.D., Interact, Student Activities, and sports.  She currently works at Del Rosa's Pizza.  Her most memorable moments include winning a soccer game against Charleroi when she was a freshman and her trip to Hawaii.  After she graduates, she would like to attend CCAC or Cal U for nursing.  Kathy also enjoys sports, computers, outdoors, playing pool and poker.

Rich Scheuermann is involved with the basketball team, interact, and baseball.  Rich was captain of his ninth grade basketball team and is a coach for the In-House basketball team. His favorite high school memory was his trip to Hawaii for 10 days.  He plans on becoming a physical therapist.

Rodney Taylor is a member of the basketball team and a Deacon at Sunrise Baptist Church in South Park.  He currently works at Baroan's Scratch and Dent Appliances.  His most memorable moment is scoring his first varsity point.  He plans to attend Cal U. and major in secondary education. Rodney would also like you to know that he “loves Ringgold Basketball, and they are going to be good.  So come watch them play.”

Mike Watkins is involved in football, basketball, and baseball.  He is a senior leader on the basketball team.  His most memorable moment was on December 18, 2004.  He plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh and major in physical therapy.

Ed Rosenfeld is a member of the Ski Club, S.A.D.D., and football.  His most memorable moment was getting three catches against Chartiers Valley for 53 yards.  He plans to attend college in South Carolina.

Amanda Owens is the Secretary of the Senior Class and the captain of the volleyball team.  She is also a part of National Honor Society, SADD, Student Government and plays on the high school softball team.  When she not involved in her activities at school, she works at Century sports.  Her favorite high school memories are all of the crazy moments in physics and the hilarious moments with the volleyballers and softballers.
     At the moment, she is applying to many schools, but most of all Duquesne.  She plans to major in Physical Therapy.  Her favorite quote is, "Enjoy life, there's plenty of time to be dead!"


John Danek is the co-commander-in-chief (a.k.a. officer) of the PA Math League.  He is also involved in ski club, Science Olympiad, G.E.A.R. and Mock Trial.  His most memorable moment spanned an entire weekend-his ski club trip to Snowshoe.  He plans to attend Penn State and major in Information Science and Technology.  He would like Ringgold to know that, "Under all my clothes, I'm completely naked."

Katherine Jakub is the editor of the high school newspaper. She is also a section leader in the marching band, a twelfth grade G.E.A.R. representative, and a part-time cashier at Eckerd. She intends to go to a university in New York with a major in either journalism or entertainment law. Her favorite high school memory is spending time with her beloved Judy Barrett.
David Scheponik is the Webmaster of his online journalism class. He is an active member of the Interact club and S.A.D.D. After graduation Dave plans on attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a major in graphic design. His favorite high school memory is going to World Wresting Entertainment Raw.
Kris Marchewka is a varsity baseball player. He says he has been playing since he was in his mother's womb. He is a member of the Spanish club, Interact club, and S.A.D.D. Kris wants to go to a college, probably the University of Pittsburgh or the University of Southern Florida, with what he calls "a major in Pittsburgheese." His favorite high school memory is winning the baseball playoffs.
Rachel Zadnik is the starting, varsity outside hitter for the school's volleyball team. She began playing in fifth grade and has not stopped since. In addition to volleyball, Rachel is involved in S.A.D.D., Interact, College in High School, and a dedicated career lab worker. Rachel intends on going to Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. She would like to major in psychology and become a substance abuse councilor or a clinical psychologist. Her favorite high school memory is playing volleyball.
Colleen Crosby is highly involved in with the drama department. She has been in numerous plays including 'Til Death, Lost in the 50's, M.A.S.H., It's a Crime, and the talent show. She is the originator and leader of the school's English Festival team. She plans on going to the University of Pennsylvania and get a degree in law. Her favorite high school memory is participating in the school plays.
